HOW DO I GET TO TURKEY AND VILLA BOWER?

Dalaman airport in Southwest Turkey is the closest to Villa Bower. It is 1 hour and l5 mins by car from the airport to the villa.Other airports are Antalya to the east over 4 hours by car on mountain roads or Bodrum to the west again some 5 hours by car.

Turkish Airlines THY www.turkishairlines.com and British Airways www.britishairways.com have two scheduled flights daily from Heathrow to Istanbul where you need to change and take an internal flight down to Dalaman with Turkish airlines. You may like to take a stopover in Istanbul, but check both airlines prices. KTHY fly Fridays direct to Antalya from Stansted.

Upon arrival at Dalaman Airport a transfer by car or taxi to the villa is £35 one way. If you prefer to bus it you must first get a taxi into Dalaman town bus station where you pick up a trunk service running along the coast.

To rent a car it is cheaper if this is arranged in Ovacik village near the villa or in Fethiye such as info@fethiyerentacar.com or pinara_rentacar@ttnet.com aftercareturkey@yahoo.com and these companies can usually arrange transfers to and from the airport.
